My life took a profound turn after a self-inflicted near-death experience—a heart attack brought on by the choices I made against my own body. Lying in a hospital bed, I heard a doctor warn that the next heart attack could lead to my immediate demise. That moment was a mirror, forcing me to confront my own actions. Now, 15 years later, I stand as a Certified Nutritional Scientist, Biochemist, Master Herbalist, Holistic Health Practitioner, and Honorary Ph.D. in Natural Health Science. I have earned numerous certifications, awards, and honors in health and wellness, from esteemed institutions such as the University of Adelaide, Stanford University, and advanced clinical herbal schools.

I have had the privilege of lecturing to sold-out crowds at major HBCUs, state colleges, and universities. One of my most memorable moments was speaking to a full house at the world-famous Apollo Theater, with my mother in the audience. I have also been recognized with a proclamation naming November 21, 2024, as Dr. Yahki Rapha Elohim Day by the Mayor of Mount Vernon, New York, and the Westchester County Board of Legislators, as well as receiving a certificate of recognition from New York State Senator Andrea Cousins. For my dedication to health and wellness, I was honored with a Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from President Joseph R. Biden.
